If you have found a stray dog, cat or other domestic animal, you can bring that animal to the Humane Society of Lebanon County during normal business hours. If you have any questions, please contact us at (717) 628-1369. The Humane Society of Lebanon County does not pick up stray animals.
The following municipalities have confirmed stray holding agreements with the Humane Society of Lebanon County. If you live in one of these municipalities, you can bring the animal to the Humane Society of Lebanon County at no charge. If your municipality is not listed below, a $35 fee will be applied for a single stray cat, $75 for a single stray dog. Please bring your photo ID as proof of address.

* Will only cover the cost of housing stray dogs. Residents bringing in stray cats are asked to pay a $35 fee to cover the cost of housing the animal.
** North Lebanon Township requires its residents to stop at the municipal building at 725 Kimmerlings Road, Lebanon, PA 17046 to receive an approval form before bringing a stray animal to the Humane Society of Lebanon County. If you do not get the approval form beforehand, you will be asked to pay $35.
If you do not see your township or borough on the list above, they have not confirmed a stray holding agreement with the Humane Society of Lebanon County. Please contact your local officials to encourage them to provide this service to you or to find out if they have made alternate arrangements to accept stray animals. If you choose to bring the animal to the Humane Society of Lebanon County, please be prepared to pay a $35 fee to assist with the cost of housing the animal.
