Durron! Next internet sensation!

Our Durron just might be the next internet sensation! The best news is this fella is available to love furrever!

Click here to see Durron in action in his debut video!

Durron! Durron is a 1 year old neutered male DSH Brown Tabby with White. Durron arrived as a stray here at our shelter in April. Durron is quite the character and has a very unique look. Some of our staff feels Durron looks a bit like the internet sensation €œGrumpy Cat€. Durron most often times can be found perched high in a corner of our Cat Colony Room. Durron is searching for a family to call his own. Could that family be yours? You could be adopting the next internet sensation, just sayin€™!

Tazer! Single and available!

Handsome Hunk Tazer is single and available and the Lebanon Daily News Pet of the Week! Click here to see this handsome fella in action in our play yard!

Tazer is a red 4 year old neutered male American Pit Bull Terrier! This sturdy fella does best with slow, supervised introductions. Tazer does okay with other dogs, but does have child restrictions. A quieter household would be a great environment for this pup. Potential adopters must be willing to provide behavior modification training in order to be considered for adopting this fella. Tazer is residing in a quieter section of our shelter, so when visiting please connect with a staff person if interested in more info/visiting with Tazer.

Handsome hunk Scrappy! Available!

Handsome Hunk Scrappy is our Lebanon Daily News Pet of the Week! Please Click here to see this sturdy fella in action!Thank you to the Lebanon Daily News for creating this weekly feature!

Due to his length of stay here at our shelter his adoption fee is waived! (adoption criteria must still be met)

Also this week – kittens (age 2 months to 6 months) are available 2 for 1 adoption fee!

TNR Clinic – June 3

A TNR clinic for stray and feral cats will be held on Saturday,  June 3!  Drop off will be between 9:00 am and 9:30 am.  Pick up will be between 2 pm and 4 pm (or earlier if staff calls once the cat is awake and ready to go home).

These TNR (Trap-Neuter-Return) clinics will be low-cost spay and neuter clinics for feral and stray cats. The shelter takes appointments for TNR clinics via phone at (717) 628-1369, or by email at info@lebanonhumane.org. There will be 25 spots available per clinic, with spots being reserved on a first-come, first-served basis. No more than 3 spots will be reserved for a single individual per clinic. Cats must be brought to the shelter either in a trap or in a carrier.

Cost for the clinics is $30 per cat, which includes the spay and neuter surgery and a rabies vaccine. All cats will be ear-tipped for identification purposes. NO EXCEPTIONS.

Additional services offered include a FVRCP vaccine for $10, a FeLV/FIV test for $20, and flea preventative and deworming treatment for $10.

Lebanon City Residents:

To report an area with a large population of unowned stray and feral cats, within the Lebanon City limits, please email: TNR@LebanonHumane.org. The HSLC and the City of Lebanon  have begun a partnership to address these areas of concern through TNR and re-homing services.

Recommended Low-Cost Clinics

While the shelter cannot at this time offer vaccinations or spay/neuter surgeries for the public other than what is offered in clinics, there are a number of low-cost veterinary services which the shelter does recommend to the surrounding community.
