Looking to give back? Volunteer at our shelter!

New Volunteer Orientation is scheduled for Wednesday, July 11 at 5 pm

Interested in giving back? Join us for our Volunteer Orientation. We will give you a tour of the shelter and a brief overview of our volunteer program. We are seeking volunteer dog walkers, cat snugglers, foster families, event helpers, plus more! Opportunities to volunteer are endless! Volunteers must be over the age of 18. Please bring along some form of identification. The orientation will last about an hour. We hope to see you there!

New Dog Walker Training is scheduled for Sunday, July 15 at 2 pm

The Humane Society of Lebanon County will be holding a special training class specifically for anyone (age 18 or older) interested in volunteering as a dog walker at the shelter.

At this training session we will discuss safe handling protocol for walking our shelter dogs and give a brief demo on our SAFER temperament assessment. You MUST attend this training session (in addition to the New Volunteer Orientation) before walking dogs at the shelter. Classes are held once per month.

Please join us and learn how you can make a difference in the lives of homeless dogs in Lebanon County.
