Thank you for your good work in our community LCBA!

Our community rocks! The Lebanon County Builders Association (LCBA) recently held another super successful Hit It Big Bingo Event! The LCBA graciously donated the proceeds from a specialty game to our shelter! The LCBA is always oh so supportive of our shelter and our local community. The overall proceeds from this event are placed towards scholarships for community youth attending trade schools. Thank you LCBA for your good work in our community!

Woofs purrs and thanks to Cedar Crest School District group!

Our community rocks!

This thoughtful and caring group from Cedar Crest School District held a donation drive for our shelter! The group visited our shelter to drop off the items, learn about our shelter and learn about the responsibilities of pet ownership, plus they enjoyed visiting with a few shelter felines! Woofs, purrs and many thanks to this group and their teachers who visited our shelter!

If you are are a part of a small group, scout troop, work group, etc. and would like more info on coordinating a donation drive and visit to our shelter, please reach out to Sharon at for more info.

Never under estimate the power of furrr – Juniper visit

We love visitors! Recently the residents of Juniper Village once again enjoyed visiting with our shelter animals! The smiles of joy on the faces of these residents and the sharing of stories were simply priceless! Woofs and purrs to Tanya, Becky, Emily and all the fine folks at Juniper Village for sharing their love and kindness with our shelter animals!

from the Juniper Village BLOG:
The Cat’s Out of the Bag!
Recently a group of Juniper Residents visited the Humane Society of Lebanon County for a morning of “pet therapy”!  We brought along a bag of cat toys that were made by our residents during craft class, and one cat regaled everyone by climbing right into the bag with all of the toys!  Here you can see Ralph playing with that kitten after he climbed out of the bag using one of the toys that we made.  There are still many cats and dogs who need homes.  We learned that the Humane Society has a great need for several items such as Dawn dish detergent (lavender scent), bleach, Purina kitten chow and kitty litter.  So even if you can’t adopt a pet right now, you can still help out by stopping by with one of these items, or you can give them to us, and we will take them along on our next visit.  (We are looking for an excuse to go back again soon!)
