Volunteer Dog Walker Training

Sunday, January 8, 2017 at 1 pm at the Humane Society of Lebanon County will be holding a special training class specifically for anyone interested in volunteering as a dog walker at the shelter.

At this training session we will discuss safe handling protocol for walking our shelter dogs and give a brief demo on our SAFER temperament assessment. You MUST attend this training session before walking dogs at the shelter. Classes are held once per month.

Please join us and learn how you can make a difference in the lives of homeless dogs in Lebanon County.

Monty – available for adoption!

If we had to choose the most handsomest cat in our shelter right now- we would choose MONTY! This boy is awesome! He’s loving and sweet – a real lap cat who is a go-to kitty for our Story Tails volunteers (younger children who read to our shelter cats). Monty is currently residing in one of our Cat Colonies. Monty would make an excellent family cat! He has been here since January – way too long! Please be an angel to this boy and give him a Home for the Holidays!
