VOLUNTEER INFO
Thank you so much for your interest in volunteering your time! We understand that there are numerous non-profit agencies in Lebanon County that need volunteers, so we greatly appreciate that you are considering the Humane Society of Lebanon County to spend your time. All volunteers will go through a 1-hour orientation. During this orientation you will learn basic information about the shelter and specific details on each of the above volunteer opportunities. Please fill out the Volunteer Information Form (link below) and drop if off or fax it to the shelter. Our Volunteer Coordinator will then call you to set up an orientation date that works best for you.
As you can understand, there are certain guidelines that we need to follow due to insurance and liability reasons. We cannot accept volunteers under the age of 18. Because of our insurance, minors are not permitted to handle any of the animals at any time. All volunteers must fill out a Volunteer Release Form (handed out at the orientation) and possess a valid state issued picture identification.
Thank you again for your interest in helping the animals of Lebanon County, and we look forward to meeting you soon!
